Two weeks – that’s how much time is left to sign up for health insurance through the federal exchange in order to have that coverage takes effect January 1st. And now that healthcare.gov is running a bit more smoothly, the pressure to get people to sign up for Obamacare in North Texas is on. Health Insurance Marketplace representatives along with professionally trained assisters are hosting a health insurance enrollment event Monday, Dec. 9 through Wednesday, Dec. 11 in Dallas. What:         Health Insurance Marketplace representatives along with professionally trained assisters will be hosting a health insurance enrollment event in Dallas this Monday, Dec. 9 through Wednesday, Dec. 11 to enroll Texans in affordable, quality health plans. Dec.23 is the deadline to enroll in a plan for coverage starting Jan. 1.
